My Philosophy on Birth

​

As women labour, they ultimately cross a threshold from the person they once were, to the mother they become. ​

​

There is a sacred channel of energy that must be kept safe during this time in order for the woman to successfully birth her child, without fear or inhibition. 

​

I believe it is the role of the Doula to hold the sacred space, allowing the birthing woman to labour how she wishes, in order to achieve the most positive outcome possible.
